The Fifties Fair is the ultimate celebration of all things 1950s, set in the grounds of Rose Seidler House – Harry Seidler’s first Australian commission (1948–50).

This year’s entertainment includes live music that will inspire you to jive and rock‘n’roll along side our rockabilly dancers, a 50s DJ, live vintage styled mannequins, vehicle displays and kids’ activities. Come dressed in your best 50s threads for a chance to win a prize in the fabulous Fifties fair fashion awards. Specialist collectors and dealers will be selling 50′s furniture, clothes, kitchenware, records and much more. We took the opportunity to tour Rose Seidler House which boasts one of Australia’s most important post-war design collections.My favourite was the fashion show

FaFiNEss your life!

Fafi is a french graffiti artist who illustrates sexy, gorgeous nymphs embracing life, art, fantasy...I totally love her work and style...

Fafi:"I draw with a simple pencil and Bic pen. Then usually I put color with my laptop. Now that I paint less outside, I am really freaking out on drawings and feel all the power of suggestion that I have. It's the media I control the best. I look at girls in the street, parties, friends, everything inspires me!"

AcroYoga!

During my travels I discovered AcroYoga; this practice blends the spiritual wisdom of yoga, the loving kindness of Thai massage, and the dynamic power of Acrobatics. These three ancient lineages form the foundation of a unique art that cultivates trust, connection and creativity. The highest aim is to bring individuals into a state of union with themselves, with each other, and with the divine. From this place of mutual support the true self can be realized, honoured and shared for the benefit of all.

Although the origin of the term is unclear, it has been used at Santa Monica Muscle Beach informally since the 1990s. The physical practice itself was first documented in 1938 as practiced by Krishnamacharya with small children as flyers. In the 2000s the term AcroYoga was claimed as a proprietary term to promote a specific school.

My first attempt was far from this! Instead, ‘Om, Shanti,’ I'm a clumsy little brown thing with  sciatica, and a penchant to attempt anything bizarre, whimsical, enchanting, brutal or sexy. Makes for a nice mix, wouldn't you say? Ling~*

Last night I went to my usual stomping ground at the MAC, and discovered that I was more lost without my camera - than I was without my ex, taking photos is a real passion of mine and since my camera died on me last week I haven't been complete. So on top of todays priority list is shopping around for Digital Lumix FT3.

MOVING ON.

Attraction is one thing, romance is another, and a permanent relationship something else again. The alignment of the planets indicates that I have some choices to make today, and I'm  finding it hard to decide between my heart and my head. My feelings are inclined towards making an unsuitable decision - do I hold on to our freindship? Will he overcome his addictions and demons? I'm going to discriminate - no I had been tippy toeying about conveying my wants,  than last night at the Beresford after too many gins,  I decided to tell him. Defeated and unsatisfied by his indifference and his sarcasm. I decided to end our freindship. There is no point in talking with some one who is emotional unavailable and can't even remember what he had for lunch because his always wasted. Perspective is needed. Craig and Harry always full of gay wisdom. Craig quips "Hun, no contact with exes, golden rule 1! New chapter for you...where there is a crisis, there is an opportunity...take that room in Bondi!"
