This morning I woke up vague, my body is aching, wanting so badly for the taste of Aperols Spritz to leave my mouth, I stumbled out of bed reading my 16 random txts to freinds and family, one being my boss! Ooops, why do I punish myself I wonder???
Last night after dinner with my vivacious freinds we marched up to cool ambience of Chin-a-Lings our fav underground bar with gritty brick walls and rendered concrete sprayed with images of skeletons and lit by cages of old light bulbs. Like the interiors, the crowd oozes hipness, sitting on low couches and tall bar stools, chatting and grooving to the vintage music. Our luck in rolling dices won us lethal cocktails. 3 Aperol Spritz's later. We were heavily intoxicated and craved a beat of a different kind, we decided Afro Moses would hit the spot!
When you go to see Afro Moses doing his thing...you can expect passion, colour, energy, powerful messages, dancing and a sense that you've just witnessed something deeply special....
Born in Ghana, Afro Moses hit the charts as a teenager and is labelled as The African James Brown. Later, he was taken to Denmark and had the Danes lapping up his infectious music. From there, he started touring the world and has stunned audiences right across the globe and last night I had the priviledge of dancing with him! Spoilt with fun nites like this, life just does not get any better!
